Special spawns may appear if you’re lucky, including Vigoroth (the evolution of Slakoth) and Slowbro (the evolution of Slowpoke). In the wild, Gulpin will be spawning more frequently, as well as Slakoth, Slowpoke and Spoink, the latter three of which can appear shiny. During this time, there will be different wild spawns and raid bosses, as well as special field research tasks and a collection challenge. The event begins on June 8th at 10am local time, and runs until June 13th at 8pm local time. A Very Slow Discovery introduces some new Galarian forms, as well as a Mega Pokémon raid debut. Not content with rushing out a handful of new Galarian Pokémon recently, Niantic has decided to slow things down with this next event for Pokémon GO.
